For heating and cooling companies in Bucks & Montgomery County, PA

An answering service for HVAC companies that texts back in seconds

The phone rings hardest when the weather turns, while you're in a basement with a furnace apart. A missed caller hears from your company by text within seconds, and you know the job before you call back.

Where HVAC calls slip away

Two rush seasons, one phone

Invoca found 27% of calls to home-service businesses go unanswered (May 2024). In HVAC, the misses bunch up in the weeks everyone's system quits.

The first cold night

Furnaces idle since spring fire up the same week, and the ones that won't light become calls. Invoca's July 2026 benchmarks name the first cold snap as a missed-call spike.

Heat-wave weekends

In the 90s the no-AC calls stack up, Saturdays included, while you're in an attic or out at a condenser. A free missed-call check reveals what those callers get today.

Tune-ups nobody books

Plan members mean to book the fall tune-up. Without a reminder it slides into December, when your days belong to no-heat calls.

What I build for HVAC companies

No-heat callers hear from you in seconds

You approve the wording on all three before anything goes live.

A text before they call the next company

Customers keep calling your usual number. A missed call gets a text from a texting number registered to your company asking if it's heat or AC and which town. Website quote requests get an instant reply. Part of Missed-Call Recovery.

An assistant for the overflow

When three no-heat calls land at once, an AI assistant takes the ones you can't and sends you a summary of each.

Maintenance-plan follow-up

Spring and fall tune-up reminders, follow-ups on replacement estimates and review requests after each job, built as custom automation for a fixed quote.

Heating and cooling in Bucks and Montgomery County

An HVAC year on the phone, with the new texting law in mind

Each season opens with a rush: no-heat calls the first night it drops toward freezing, from Newtown to Blue Bell, and no-cool calls with the first run of 90-degree days. Plumbing too? See the plumbing page.

Between rushes come the tune-up months. ENERGY STAR tells homeowners to have cooling checked in spring and heating in fall, around the clock changes, since contractors get busy once summer and winter come.

Pennsylvania's new law, in force since October 18, 2026, keeps sales texts between 9 AM and 7 PM, with none on Sundays or legal holidays. Replies like STOP end them, and each violation can cost up to $1,000, or $3,000 for someone 60 or older.

Plenty of no-heat calls come after 7. A text back can count as a sales text depending on its wording, so the opening text sticks to the call, the send hours are yours, and the AI assistant handles the late ones.

Tune-up reminders to plan members concern an agreement they already have, which usually keeps them outside the new rules. The contractor's guide covers the rest. It's practical guidance, so a lawyer has the last word.

Questions the assistant can ask

  • Gas, oil or heat pump?
  • Any heat coming out?
  • How warm is the house?

FAQ

Questions owners ask

How does this compare with an HVAC answering service?

An answering service takes a message, and you call back to find out what's wrong. Missed-Call Recovery texts the caller in seconds, has an AI assistant take what you can't and tells you how cold the house is before you dial. Compare the two side by side

Will text-backs go out on a Saturday afternoon in a heat wave?

Your choice. Pennsylvania's holiday law makes every Saturday afternoon a half holiday, and it isn't settled whether the texting law counts those hours. The cautious setting stops text-backs at noon and lets the AI assistant take the afternoon calls.

I pay for Google Local Services Ads. Do missed calls cost me now?

They can. Since October 1, 2026, Google bills a missed call in your business hours as a lead if the caller stays on the line more than 20 seconds, voicemail included.

What would the $500 audit show an HVAC company?

Twenty checks, starting with your missed, after-hours and repeat calls from the last 30 days. I'm in Warrington and do the 30-minute walkthrough at your shop, with the report five business days later. If it doesn't find at least $500 a month in work you're losing, the $500 comes back. What the audit covers

What does a caller hear when my line rings out?

The free missed-call check tells you. I call once, let it ring and send a test quote request, then email a one-page result by the next business day.

Before the next cold snap, hear what your callers hear.

Request the free missed-call check and see the result by the next business day, or talk for 15 minutes on a weekday evening or Saturday morning.

If you go on to the $500 audit, it comes with a guarantee: if it finds less than $500 a month slipping, you get the $500 back.
